On-Site Workshop:

Our on-site, instructor-facilitated workshop is a one-day training course in basic statistical concepts and tools used for manufacturing process control. Statistical concepts critical to management of product quality are covered through visual explanations, examples and group discussion. Participants will understand statistical concepts and tools within the bigger picture of operations management, measurement, analysis and corrective action. Participants will also leave with an understanding of how Six Sigma initiatives improve operating results.

The course is designed to help participants properly apply statistical tools in a manner that proactively improves quality and reduces the costs of non-conformance. Learning occurs through instructor-facilitated teaching, discussions and team exercises that transfer knowledge and skills to the participants.

This workshop is appropriate for division and corporate management who need to understand why Control Charts, Cpk and reduction of special and common causes are important to achieving ever increasing quality goals. The workshop can also be delivered to plant personnel and cross-functional teams responsible for controlling and improving quality metrics and plant performance.
